We took a quick overnight trip to visit Brant this weekend. Look at this Pineapple Fountain! We had never seen it before. Mom wanted to go to the Battery. The kids had never seen it. Brant took us to this fountain. Other than Forsyth, this is the prettiest fountain I have ever seen. Bryson took this picture. Isn't it beautiful??
This is another fountain close by.
I am sure that lots of kids are there every day when the weather is warm. It was overcast and cool. The kids ran under the water. Unfortunately, Bryson did not know that if you stuck your finger in the spout, you could squirt people. Blake taught her that very quickly!
So she decided to try it out on Brett and soaked him!
We will have to go back when it is warm and sunny!
We made our way on down the river and found this sandbar in the middle of the river with a cross. I thought it was very cool! I wonder who put it there.
Then we went house shopping. Here are a few of the houses that I am interested in....
This house was having a party. You could see everyone all dressed up with their pearls on.....wonder what the party was for.....
Brant shared some trivia with us.....Guess who owns this house?
Here is a hint...
Look at the sunset...just beautiful!
Brett and Blake were especially impressed with the cannons. Bryson liked them too.
Grandmomma promised ice cream to everyone. Buc was upset when we came home without some for him. Lucky dog....Brant had some peanut butter and cheese ice cream in the freezer just for him. Everyone was happy!
We went strawberry picking at Boone Hall Plantation this morning.
All of this and a trip to the Market....
had to come back home to get some rest!!!!!
We had a great time and I know that Brant is glad to have some peace and quiet back at his house!
P.S. That house belongs to the Piggly Wiggly family!
