Finally.....

he lost his first tooth!!!!
Brett has been wanting to lose a tooth since school started so that he could color in a block on the Tooth Graph.  This tooth has not been loose very long.  The permanent tooth is already coming in behind it.

Blake is the resident tooth puller in the house.  He has pulled all of Bryson's teeth!  I don't do teeth!  He could not wait to get his hands on this one.

While I was at the grocery store yesterday, Blake offered to pull the tooth.  Personally I don't think it was ready.  The plan was to tie some fishing string around it and hook it to the doorknob and then slam the door.  At the last minute, Brett changed the plans and decided that he would run backwards instead of tying it to the doorknob!  Blake held on, Brett ran backwards and the tooth came out!!

At some point during the evening, Brett and Bryson were checking out the tooth that was in a Ziploc bag and the tooth dropped.  I thought that the Tooth Fairy may get a note instead of a tooth, but after a thorough sweep of the kitchen, the tooth was found in the dustpan!  Thank goodness!

The Tooth Fairy stopped by last night and left $5.00.  Apparently the first tooth is worth more money!

Brett got to color in his block on the Tooth Graph today and the tooth next to the missing one is loose now.  Brett and Blake are already hard at work to get this one out!  I am surprised that Brett's tongue is not bleeding.  He has kept it in the missing tooth space all day!

Easter pics are coming soon....a little behind on the blogging over here!

Easter

Family Easter Portrait of the Year Award goes to the Lee family!
This is what a typical Sunday morning before church looks like at our house.  Only difference is that it is Easter and Brant took the picture.  Blake was still prepping while we all waited patiently (or not).  The next pictures turned out pretty good once we got everyone there and I told them they better smile or else......

The Easter Bunny showed up at our house!

And after church we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt and dinner at Grandmomma's!

Everyone got a Golden Egg.  Each egg had different amounts of money!

Dyeing Eggs

We can't go a year without the yearly Easter Egg dyeing.  We tried to get away with it but it didn't work, so tonight we dyed eggs with Mom and Brant.  Everyone got involved!
