Mom's Birthday

Momma turned 62 on Friday.  I had been trying to think of something that would cheer her up since she has had such a rough year.  I decided to ask a few of her close friends to meet us at the Toucan Cafe for lunch on Saturday to surprise her.  Cathy and Lucy, Beverly and Marcia met Bryson. Mom and I for lunch.  Needless to say, I don't think Mom had any idea and was very surprised.  We had a great time and Cathy, Mom and Beverly figured out that they have been friends for more than 5- years.  WOW!  They were in each other's weddings.

As you can tell, Lucy and Bryson became fast friends!!!  A man at another table enjoyed watching  them together so he bought them a raspberry torte that they thoroughly enjoyed!!

We went to visit Dad after lunch and he was doing so good.  He sang "Happy Birthday" to Mom and kissed her on the lips!!

I even got a kiss too!!!

Mom has had a wonderful birthday "week."  Eleanor took her out to lunch yesterday and her neighbors took her out to dinner last night. Happy Birthday Mom....we love you so much and appreciate all you do for us!
