Pooltime with Grandmomma and Grandaddy

Grandmomma and Grandaddy came over to watch the kids swim tonight.  Grandaddy did not have a bathing suit on and said that he was not going swimming.  When Brett saw Grandaddy he just could not understand why he wasn't in the pool.  No one could convince Grandaddy to get in the pool except these kids!! He borrowed one of Rick's bathing suits and the fun began!!  Can you tell that Brett was happy?

Brett got fussy and started whining so he and Grandmomma laid on the lounge chair and looked at the moon and stars...

Needless to say, we bought plenty of childproofing items at Babies R Us today and have been working on keeping Brett out of as many things as possible!!

Brett got sooooo excited about Miley Cyrus that.......

He jumped up and down and clapped and clapped and ripped his right hearing aid out and threw it in the sand....never to be found again. Sooooooo...tomorrow we will go to Savannah Speech and Hearing to get a new ear mold made and a hearing aid replaced. Thank goodness for the warranty!!

Starstruck!!!

Miley Cyrus is filming a movie called "The Last Song" at Tybee Island.  They have set up a carnival on the beach and have been shooting several nights down there.  What little girl (and boy-even if he doesn't want to admit it) isn't in LOVE with Miley Cyrus??  Bryson is no exception!  The whole family, Mom and Dad, Reed and his cousin Daniel, went to Tybee tonight in hopes of seeing Miley.  Bryson took her poster with her hoping for an autograph!  After a long wait, Miley showed up, but did not give any autographs.  We were able to get REALLY close to her and get some pretty good pictures!  Bryson was so excited, and I even heard the boys whispering about how "hot" and "sexy" Miley Cyrus was!!!

Happy Father's Day 2009

What a wonderful and busy day we had today!!!!  Blake accepted Jesus into his heart during Bible School and was baptized this morning!  We are soooooo proud of him and the decision that he made.  Brett was also dedicated this morning.  After church, we went out to lunch and came home and took a well needed nap.  The pictures we got are not very close, but we videotaped it and as soon as I figure out how to post a video, I will.

Do you know how hard it is to get 3 kids to look at the camera and smile at the same time????  VERY HARD!  But we tried and these are the best of the pictures that we came up with!!  By the way, I took 592 pictures over a 5 day period and between Kim and I, we took over 1,000 pictures!!
