Trip to Atlanta

This past weekend, we went to Atlanta to see the King Tut exhibit and the Last Emperor exhibit. We had a lot of fun, but, unfortunately, no pictures were allowed inside the exhibits. It was very crowded and hopefully one day when Blake and Bryson learn this part of history, they will remember parts of the exhibits. Both of the exhibits were amazing but the Chinese Terracota Army was expecially amazing to me!! Uncle Carey went with us, but he was taking this picture!!

While we were waiting to go into the Last Emperor at the High Museum, we visited the Children's exhibit that was part of the High Museum. Bryson and Brett had fun!!

On Sunday, we went to the GA Aquarium and had a great time!! Rick, Carey and Brett had never been so they were excited!! Brett LOVED looking at the giant aquarium full of fish. He kept moving like he was swimming with them andwas really talking to them!!!

On the way out of the aquarium, we ran into the Geico Ghecko!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

So Bryson, Brett and I skipped out on the parade this year. Blake went with Noah. The thought of 3 children, stroller, food, etc. plus clouds and the threat of rain just couldn't motivate me to go. Even though we did not go, we still dressed in green and had a great day!

What Brett Can Do

Brett is 7 months old today! Here's what he can do:

He can drink juice out of a sippy cup with some help!

He can push up and is trying to figure out how to crawl. He scoots backwards and gets frustrated.

He can sit up all by himself...what a BIG boy!!
He is beginning to eat real foods (which is causing him to not like baby food:( )
He LOVES his feet and enjoys chewing on his toes......but MOST of all.....his favorite thing to chew on in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD is.........
HIS HEARING AIDS.......UUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!!!
Every time I turn around, he has them ripped out of his ears and in his mouth. Last week I had to change the batteries twice because he drained them by sucking on them! What an expensive chew toy. He has had his aids for one month and has not bothered them until last weekend and now he won't leave them alone!! I guess this comes with the territory.
Anyway, he is still the sweetest, calmest, and happiest baby and is such a blessing to us. We can't believe he is growing up so fast!
And here's a picture of Blake and Bryson with Hannah and Dozer:
St. Patrick's day is Tuesday...More pictures to come!

Out of the mouth of Bryson

So, we were cleaning up Blake's room (which is a huge feat in itself) and Bryson, Blake and Brett and I were all in his room. This was the conversation between me and Bryson:

Bryson: "Momma, I love you so much and you are the best Mom in the whole wide world."
Me:"Thank you Bryson, you are so sweet. I love you too!"
Bryson: "Well, one day you going to die and go to heaven and then I will have to bury you."
Me:"Where did that come from??????"
Bryson:"I have a very good memory don't I?"
